HB 1325

The Hemp Farming Act: Relating to the production and regulation of hemp and products made from hemp; requiring authorization to produce hemp; authorizing penalties; authorizing fees.

House Bill 1325 was filed by Rep. Tracy King. HB 1325 “would allow Texas to join 41 other states in hemp cultivation, bring the state into full compliance with the 2018 Farm Bill, and clarify beyond any doubt that hemp products such as CBD could be sold at retail (U.S. Hemp Roundtable).”
